Cleveland, OH - June 2008 - Adalet is pleased to announce their flameproof enclosures are now updated to the new ATEX standard EN 60079-1:2007 for equipment protection by flameproof enclosures ('d') in explosive atmospheres. Effective March 1, 2007, CENELEC standard EN50018 was cancelled as the harmonized ATEX Directive flameproof standard and updated to the new ATEX standard EN60079-1 2007 edition. Adalet flameproof enclosure series XCEX & XIFCX flameproof junction boxes, XIHX flameproof instrument housings, and XJ_X screw cover enclosures are all updated to the new ATEX standard and are available for immediate shipment.

The Adalet XCPX series of ATEX Control Panels are designed to the EN 60079-1:2004 plus corrigendum ATEX standard. The XCPX certificate allows for the installation of control operators, motor control components, and all other CE marked components inside Adalet's complete line of ATEX certified enclosures.
