Instrument Enclosures Designed For Rugged and Explosionproof Areas Comply With The Atex Directive

Cleveland, OH - August 2008- The Adalet XIH and XDH instrument enclosures carry full North American approvals and all comply with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC in order to be sold or placed into service in any Member State of the European Union. The various sized instrument enclosures are designed to provide ample clearance to accommodate a wide variety of instrumentation, measurement, and control devices which will be located in hazardous areas or areas which require rugged protection.
The instrument housings are machined from sand-cast, copper-free aluminum with a corrosion-resistant, "safety blue" polyester powder coating; other colors and logos are also available to match specific company requirements. The housings are designed with a glass viewing window or solid cover options with varying cover depths for large and small instruments. The enclosures have ½" or ¾" NPT conduit feed-through hub for sensors, probes, or conduit. Internal and external ground screws and tamper-resistant cover set screws are provided for extra safety. All hardware is stainless steel and a Buna-N rubber gasket permits NEMA 4x watertight applications.
