The NEMA Type 4X single door enclosure for flange mounted disconnects can be used indoors or outdoors. Various design options will allow you to tailor these disconnect enclosures to your unique application needs.
Disconnect Enclosure Applications
Designed to protect against dust, dirt, oil and water, they are used for applications in petrochemical plants, dairies, breweries, food processing areas and similar environments where they can be subject to frequent high pressure hosing and generally wet conditions. They are also for use in areas where severe corrosion exists.
